This is a project in which I created a repeating pattern out of 5 vector graphics positioned on a square. The mockup shows the pattern in use on a fabric print.

This is a travel poster I created in Adobe Illustrator by tracing over a Photoshop collage. The effectiveness of the composition is partly due to a reduced color palette.

Here is a design concept for the magazine Outdoor Photographer, including a cover and page spread. This is an example of setting type creatively to interact with other page elements.

Here is a graphic of the furthest I have been in each cardinal direction. I chose to illustrate each location with a uniform gray-scale palette, to make the red text pop.

Here I have expanded on the brand identity of NOVA: a clothing company conceptualized by a classmate. The style guide specifies relevant details to preserve the brand's visual consistency.

I created these icons to submit to the Noun Project, which is a large free icon repository anyone can upload to. I decided on a farm animal themed icon set, and all 5 of my submissions were approved.

This poster promotes an old German sundial, which is on display at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Design concepts employed here include repetition and a limited color palette.

The top four logos were created for classmates' business ideas. Clockwise: Jewelry Kingdom, a jewelry store. NOVA, a clothing brand. Useless Monthly, a monthly subscription to a surprise package. Wormhole, a book publisher.

Logos is the name of the graphic design club at SUNY Cobleskill. It was inspired by the Greek word: logos hence the aesthetic influence. Lower right is a logo I designed for one of Logos' clients: a fisheries and wildlife club, aka Fish Heads.

In the top two compositions, I create pattern and variation with the letter h. The bottom left is texture and shape created through overlapping text, and the bottom right is a composition exploring negative space, formed from the letters of the word: forest.

Timber Wolf is mountain bike brand concept I came up with. Displayed are designs for advertising and product mock-ups.

This photograph features a bridge over the Hudson River at night. The starry appearance of the lights was achieved with a 25 second exposure and an extremely narrow aperture.

Orange Boat is an orange juice brand I came up with, which is unique in it's commitment to entirely natural ingredients and exclusive use of recyclable aluminum. I created a web order page with JavaScript to calculate pricing.

Tiger Tales is a newsletter created and compiled by the student ambassadors at SUNY Cobleskill, and designed by me.

In this composition, the goal was to portray the word exercise using photographs taken by me and combined in Photoshop. The message of the composition is that exercise can allow anyone to ascend to new personal heights.

In order to practice typesetting in a clearly defined environment I created this book cover for Dennis Duncan’s Index, a History of the. Below is an example of how the design might look in print.

Funnel Vision is a photographic story exploring various visual compositions a basic household object like a funnel can be used in.

This poster is a typographic illustration of one of Sister Corita Kent’s 10 Rules for Students and Teachers. The color palette was chosen to reflect Sister Corita Kent’s unique and bold style.

Choose Planet is a student-run initiative at SUNY Cobleskill whose goal is raising awareness about everyday items we use that are harming the environment, such as disposable plastic-ware, shopping bags and water bottles. The poster imagery is partially created with artificial intelligence.

Here are some examples of graphics I’ve created at my internship for SUNY Cobleskill’s social media accounts. Through designing these, I gained experience working within design parameters.

I designed this double-sided 6 panel folding flier to be used for all open-campus events at SUNY Cobleskill, working with the college’s colors and typefaces.

I designed this honey jar label for a local beekeeper as a freelance project. My goal was to achieve a vintage appearance.

A concept cover design for New York Times Magazine based on stories of the 2023 earthquake in Turkey. On the left you can see some of the design process, starting with a physical painting.

These two posters are an example of designs I created during my internship at SUNY Cobleskill, to promote sustainability programs around the campus.

In this poster I wanted to illustrate the duality of characters in the classic movie Fight Club. I achieved this by wrapping a bandage around a hand extended from a suit jacket.
